Do you need the 12v adapter? My genlock has always worked without one. Just
connect the genlocks video cable to the Amiga`s video port and away you go.
I`ve never used the video thru socket, but I think its for plugging into a
seperate (second) monitor to see whats happening directly from the video
source (you may have that faded out on the genlock & can only see the Amiga
display on your main screen)
